ROBERT MITCHELL JR., LCSW

Robert Mitchell Jr., LCSW is a social worker, therapist, and creative program developer with over 25 years of experienceworking with youth and families. Through his work with the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services and his independently developed initiatives—including Circular Flow L.E.A.D., RIZE UP, The Flow System, and the Man & Machine (STARR) project—he has impacted hundreds to over a thousand youth across schools, foster care systems, and community-based programs.

He has designed and facilitated arts, life skills, and technology-based programming in partnership with institutions such as Marygrove College, VSA Arts, Burton International Academy, Crary Elementary School, Carver Elementary School, Academy for Business and Technology, Roeper Upper School, Detroit Impact, and WINGS.

His work integrates mental health, creative expression, and responsible technology use to help young people build identity, develop life skills, and navigate the challenges of today's world.
